Two different views of Contemporary Dance.
In Dance Addiction, Kayla and Kupono explore the emotional states needed to really “feel” a contemporary dance based on breaking free of addiction.
The second half of this video shows contemporary dance at its best, but the discussion of emotions in the first minute of the video is perhaps a neglected part of contemporary dance teaching. The sound is a little low, may need to turn your speakers up.
